Vikings (18-9) top Guaynabo for International 5th
  
   ORLANDO, FLA.- Homewood Area Small Fr avenged a Monday Bracket Buster loss by toppling Guaynabo GBA, Puerto Rico on Wednesday to capture fifth place in the 42nd annual International Tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort. The Midwest Regional champions concluded the year with an 18-9 mark following a 4-4 start to the season.
   Homewood 65, Guaynabo GBA 64- The Vikings trailed by 11 early, then took a onetime 12-point lead before hanging on for the fifth-place honor. Chris Austin was 8-for-8 from the line in the fourth quarter to finish with a career-high 22 points and eight rebounds. Austin scored a hoop for a 63-61 lead, then hit two clinching free throws with four seconds remaining. Devon Dotson added 11 points for the Vikings, while Brandon Hurt collected nine points, four rebounds and three assists. Micah Bradford and Jon Spesia each pulled down five rebounds.
   Homewood 33, Chicago Heights 32- After the Green Streaks rebounded from a 13-point deficit to take a late three-point lead, Homewood's Jon Spesia (four rebounds) scored on a putback with six seconds remaining for the game winner. Chris Austin paced Homewood with 11 points, including 8-for-8 at the foul line, while Devon Dotson added six points and Micah Bradford had six points and two steals.
    Equan Reid had 15 points for Chicago Heights, including the key three-point play to give the Streaks the lead, while Jaylon Walton knocked down 10 points.
   Marquette Best 43, Homewood 33- The Vikings allowed a 12-point halftime command to get away and were outscored, 19-4, in the fourth quarter. Chris Austin tallied nine points with four rebounds to lead Homewood, which committed a season-high 28 turnovers. Jailen Williams added five points, while Devon Dotson, Brandon Hurt and Bernie Coderre (four steals) each had four rebounds.
   Homewood 51, Glenbrook 44- A onetime 11-point command was whittled to one, but the Vikings survived by hitting 12 of their 23 made free throws in the fourth quarter. Devon Dotson paced Homewood with 15 points, while Chris Austin had 12 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Brandon Hurt (three steals) and Micah Bradford each chipped in five points, while Bernie Coderre and Jailen Williams each ripped down six rebounds.
   Guaynabo GBA 52, Homewood 38- The Vikings trailed by just one at halftime, but eventually dropped the Bracket Buster contest. Micah Bradford led Homewood with 11 points, while Jon Spesia had eight points and six rebounds. Chris Austin clicked for six points and six rebounds, while Devon Dotson scored six points.
