Vikings earn 4th place in 'Moe Reed' Tournament
  

   ORLANDO, FLA.- Homewood Small Fry Basketball played in the third-place game of the Moe Reed Tournament a second straight year, this time taking fourth at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Walt Disney World Resort on Wednesday.
   Rexville Bayamon 67, Homewood 36- The Vikings (7-21) fell behind by an 18-7 count after one quarter and never challenged in the third-place contest. Alonzo Cushmeer hit four threes in the final stanza to lead Homewood with 12 points, while Gianni Cobb added seven points.
   Southern Ponce 60, Homewood 48- Alonzo Cushmeer tallied a game-high 17 points in an exhibition loss for Homewood, which was outscored, 18-5, in the final stanza. Gianni Cobb added seven points for the Vikings, while Dorien Beatty, A.J. Hamlin and Carson Brownfield each scored six points.
   St. Croix 51, Homewood 48- The Vikings allowed a onetime double-digit lead to slip away in an overtime decision, spoiling a game-high 16-point effort from Gianni Cobb. The Vikings also got nine points each from A.J. Hamlin and Alonzo Cushmeer.
   Homewood 66, Colombia 26- Ten different players scored for the Vikings, who jumped to an early 66-26 command. A.J. Hamlin led the winners with 13 points, Carson Brownfield added 10 points and Dorien Beatty scored all of his nine points in the final quarter.
   Homewood 56, Caguas Libac, PR 38- Alonzo Cushmeer buried four threes and finished with 18 points to pace the Vikings, while A.J. Hamlin added 12 points and Gianni Cobb finished with six. Homewood rolled to a 19-4 command after the opening quarter.
   Homewood beat Rexville Bayamon- The Vikings opened the day Tuesday with a forfeit decision over their scheduled Puerto Rican foe.
   Avalon Runners 46, Homewood 35- Gianni Cobb scored 10 points, including two late free throws to force overtime, but the Vikings were outscored, 12-1, in the extra session. Jamarion McDonald added eight points for Homewood, while A.J. Hamlin finished with six markers
.
   The Homewood Rookies notched a 1-2 record in the Rookie Challenge in Kenosha, as the Vikings dropped a 37-31 decision to Pride Grey in the consolation championship. The weekend victory for Homewood came in a 23-15 decision over Nothin' but Net.
