Vikings earn 6th at 51st International Tournament
  

   ORLANDO, FLA- Homewood Small Fry Basketball captured sixth place in the 51st annual International Tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort, one of four Midwest teams to finish in the top seven.
   Robert Taylor 65, Homewood 44- Despite nine points from Labrian Poole and eight points each by Chris Cooksey and Lucas Underwood, the Vikings fell to their Windy City foe in the fifth-place contest.
   Homewood 56, Bucaplaa 47- Gianni Cobb poured in 23 points and Dorien Beatty added 10 points for the Vikings, who overcame a 30-20 halftime deficit to earn a spot in the fifth-place contest.
   Marquette Best 51, Homewood 33- The Vikings fell short in the quarterfinal contest, despite four three-pointers and a game-high 16 points from Cobb.
   Homewood 49, Chi-Town NBN 33- A 21-8 closing run sealed the victory in a onetime close battle, as Cobb clicked for 19 points and Beatty added 11 markers. Homewood hit 14 fourth-quarter free throws to secure the contest.
   Orlando Rising Stars 46, Homewood 45- A buzzer-beater thwarted the Vikings in the exhibition contest, although Cobb copped game-high scoring honors with 21 points, including 10 in the final stanza.
   Naranjito, PR 46, Homewood 44- Cobb tallied 19 points and Beatty added 14 points for the Vikings, who allowed a double-digit lead to slip away.
