Vikings (19-11) capture third in Moe Reed tourney
  

   ORLANDO, FLA.- Homewood Area Small Fry Basketball won three of its last four contest at the ESPN Wild World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort to capture third place in the "Moe Reed" consolation tourney at the 48th annual International Tourney. The Vikings concluded the campaign with a 19-11 mark.
    Homewood 53, Morovis, PR 49- Jeremiah Jones tallied 18 points and had three steals for the Vikings, who sealed the third-place victory with eight fourth-quarter free throws. Hunter Tyndall chipped in 10 points and five rebounds, Javery Johnson clicked for nine points and six rebounds and Denali Benn also pulled down five rebounds.

    Illinois Glory 56, Homewood 44- The Vikings (18-11) allowed a onetime 12-point command to slip away and fell despite 13 points and seven rebounds from Hunter Tyndall. Amari Boyd added seven points for Homewood, which was outscored, 18-6, in the final stanza. The Vikings also got five points each from Donald Peters, Javery Johnson and Jeremiah Jones. Tai Walters dished out five assists and Victor Cooksey had three assists.
    Homewood 55, Network Stars 40- Hunter Tyndall scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds to pace Homewood, which also got eight points each from Tai Walters (four steals, four assists) and Jeremiah Jones (three steals). Kamarion Cobb added seven points for the winners.
    Homewood 56, Bayamon ABB B 42- The Vikings took command with a 15-4 second-quarter margin, as 11 different players scored. Kamarion Cobb led the way with 11 points, while Jeremiah Jones chipped in 10 points and five steals. Eddie Barrett (five rebounds), Hunter Tyndall (four steals) and Denali Benn each added six points for Homewood.
    Chicago Heights 43, Homewood 41- The Green Streaks went on a 10-0 fourth-quarter run and took advantage of 29 Homewood turnovers. Jeremiah Jones paced the Vikings (16-10) with 12 points and four steals, while Hunter Tyndall added 10 points and five rebounds. Denali Benn also pulled down six rebounds for Homewood.
